Dermal Fillers & Anti-wrinkle Injections

DERMAL FILLER

This is a popular treatment because Dermal Fillers contain hyaluronic acid, a natural component of the skin, that diminishes as we age. In fact, Hyaluronic acid naturally exists within the skin giving volume, shape, hydration, and elasticity.

The solution is injected directly into the skin with a fine needle or cannula to boost its volume, define contours, smooth out wrinkles, and give an overall look of rejuvenation.

PROCEDURE OF DERMAL FILLER

Dermal Fillers are injected into your skin to smooth away lines, folds, and wrinkles and to also lift areas that have lost their support. Additionally, it can also be used on facial contours to improve facial features to the nose, chin, and jawline.

In order to deliver great natural results, we principally work with Juvéderm® by Allergan and Restylane® by Galderma range. These Dermal Fillers are composed of Hyaluronic acid.

We first apply a topical anesthetic to numb the skin. The dermal filler is then injected into the area required using a very fine needle or blunt-ended cannula.

CHOOSE YOUR AREA

Moreover, Dermal fillers can be used to treat different areas of the face, including the lips, forehead, nose, jaw, and cheeks.

Please note that Dermal Fillers should not be used in or near areas where there is active skin infection or inflammation. Also, pregnant or breastfeeding women should not use Dermal Fillers. Furthermore, this is not suitable for Individuals with medical conditions lowering the body’s immune response or those undergoing therapy.

During your consultation, we recommend thoroughly discussing your medical history with our practitioner to ensure Dermal Fillers are an appropriate treatment for you.

Dermal fillers are most commonly used to:

  • Revitalise and add volume to the skin;
  • Fill minor to moderate lines and fill-in wrinkles;
  • Help create fuller lips and cheeks;
  • Rejuvenate mature lip, which loses volume and becomes thinner with time.
  • Support and lift marionette fold which can portray a sad or even angry appearance.
  • Soften cheek folds (nasolabial folds). Cheeks that sagges and lose volume over time become fuller.
  • Lighten hollows under the eyes (tear troughs) so tired or stressed appearance becomes a more well-rested look.
  • Strengthen and sculpt the chin and jawline to give a more balanced and contoured profile.
  • Subtly reshape the nose for a more flattering and proportionate shape.
