Metals Toxicity Test

Metals Toxicity Test

Metals Toxicity Test helps assess your exposure to potentially harmful metals. These toxic metals can accumulate in the body due to occupational hazards or environmental pollution from contaminated air, soil, or industrial waste. While sudden metal poisoning is uncommon, long-term exposure to small amounts of toxic metals can build up over time and may cause health problems or chronic diseases.

Common Sources of Exposure Include:

  • Metal refining
  • Nuclear reactor fuel assembly fabrication
  • Electronics and computer manufacturing (alloying)
  • Aerospace and machine tool plating and parts production
  • Welding and metal shaping
  • Military or law enforcement service involving weapons
  • Plumbing
  • Waste handling and disposal
  • Oil refining
  • Petrochemical production
  • Manufacture of pigments and coatings

Health Conditions Linked to Toxic Metal Exposure

Long-term exposure to toxic metals may negatively impact:

  • Energy levels
  • Neurological development and brain function
  • Reproductive health
  • Respiratory, heart, liver, and immune system function
  • Cancer risk

  • Degenerative diseases
