What exactly is HArmonyCa™ and how is it different from a standard filler?

HArmonyCa™ is a hybrid injectable that combines two clinically proven ingredients in a single treatment: Hyaluronic Acid (HA) and Calcium Hydroxyapatite (CaHA). A standard filler works purely through volume replacement and gradually dissolves over time. HArmonyCa™ goes further – the CaHA component acts as a bio-stimulator, triggering your skin to produce new Type I Collagen and Elastin in the weeks following treatment. The result is structural rejuvenation that deepens and evolves over time, something traditional fillers cannot achieve on their own.

Which areas of the face does HArmonyCa™ treat?

HArmonyCa™ is designed for structural facial areas: the cheekbones and mid-face to restore volume and lift, the jawline to redefine contour and improve laxity, and the lower cheeks to smooth accordion lines and improve overall skin quality. It is not suitable for the lips, under-eye area, or forehead. Our practitioner will confirm the most appropriate treatment plan for your anatomy during your consultation.

Will it make my face look overfilled or unnatural?

No – and this is one of HArmonyCa™’s key advantages. The HA component creates an immediate lateral lift, meaning skin is drawn back and upward rather than pushed forward. This avoids the “pillow-face” effect often associated with traditional volume fillers. The longer-term collagen stimulation works from within the skin’s own structure, so results look and feel genuinely natural, as though your skin has simply recovered its own firmness and definition.

Who is a good candidate for HArmonyCa™?

HArmonyCa™ is well suited to adults typically in their 30s through 60s who are noticing loss of mid-face volume or jawline definition, reduced skin elasticity or early laxity, accordion lines on the lower cheeks, or who want structural rejuvenation without surgery or an overfilled appearance. Who should not have HArmonyCa™?

HArmonyCa™ is not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active skin infection or inflammation in the treatment area, or have a known allergy to Lidocaine or Hyaluronic Acid. Please share your full medical history at your consultation so our practitioner can advise safely.

Is the treatment painful?

HArmonyCa™ contains integrated Lidocaine, a local anaesthetic, within the formulation itself, which significantly reduces discomfort during injection. We also use a blunt-tipped cannula rather than a sharp needle, which further minimises discomfort, bruising, and swelling. Most patients find the procedure very tolerable.

When will I see results, and how long do they last?

Results unfold in two phases. Immediately after treatment, you will notice a visible lateral lift with greater jawline definition and restored mid-face volume. Between weeks 6 and 12, the bio-stimulation phase begins – new collagen improves skin density, accordion lines soften, and skin texture becomes more refined. Peak results are typically reached at around 3 months. Results last 18–24 months, and even as the HA component gradually absorbs, the collagen produced by CaHA continues to support the skin beyond that window.

What is the recovery like? Is there any downtime?

Downtime is minimal. Any minor redness or swelling at the treatment site typically resolves within 24 hours. We advise avoiding strenuous exercise for 24 hours and heat exposure, including saunas and steam rooms, for 48 hours. Most patients return to their normal routine the same day or the following morning.
